Vacancies on the AGCAS Diversity Task Group
AGCAS is currently seeking applications from members for two new positions on the Diversity Task Group.
Last year the group, in partnership with TARGETJobs and AGCAS, produced a range of diversity related materials for TARGETJobs. Group members have also taken a lead on issues such as careers information for care leavers and career development for student offenders. The group has also worked with AGR to encourage employers to consider diversity in recruitment and we deliver training and workshops on diversity related matters.
Rory Daly, chair of the AGCAS Diversity Task Group explains further:
"We meet three times a year to discuss relevant issues and plan future work. The focus for this year's work has not been finalised so if you are interested in a particular diversity issue and would like to develop good practice and resources for that topic then our group would particularly like to hear from you. We ask where possible for new members to give a commitment of three years."
Further details and applying
To apply, simply send an email expressing interest along with details on any relevant experience to Rory Daly by Saturday 3rd February. For an informal conversation about the roles please feel free to call Rory on: 01524 593297.
