    New and updated AGCAS titles live on Prospects

    The latest batch of updated AGCAS publications is live on the Prospects website. This includes eight brand new Job profiles: biotechnologist, chef, data scientist, nanotechnologist, pathologist, stylist (fashion and product styling), surgeon and web content manager.

    AGCAS supports a ban on unpaid work experience or placements longer than four weeks

    On Friday 27 October 2017, there is a second reading of Lord Holmes of Richmond’s Private Members’ Bill in the House of Lords, which proposes a ban on unpaid work experience or internships lasting more than four weeks.

    The Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) supports this proposal.

    Nominations open for AGCAS President 2018-20

    Nominations are invited from Full Members of AGCAS for the role of President 2018-20. The incoming President will serve as President-Elect from January 2018 and as President from August 2018 to July 2020. All nominees should complete a nomination form outlining why members should vote for them in an election.

    Proposal for new Postgraduate Taught Student Survey consultation webinar

    A new Postgraduate Taught (PGT) student survey is proposed by HEFCE and the other UK funding bodies. HEFCE are running a webinar on the afternoon of Wednesday 11 October which will cover the content, structure and timing of the survey, along with the approach to publication of responses.
