    HESA review of destinations and outcomes data: update from AGCAS representatives

    AGCAS is represented on both the strategic and working groups of HESA's review of data on destinations and outcomes for leavers from HE by Co-Chairs of the Graduate Labour Market Sub Committee (GLaM), Terry Dray and Andrew Whitmore. Here, they provide an update on the review and a summary of recent discussions.

    AGCAS's contribution to the review is being welcomed and we are influencing the discussions appropriately.

    Representing AGCAS in the media: Directory of Experts

    Do you have a good knowledge of a particular area of careers and employability work, for example subject or sector-specific LMI, widening participation, diversity issues, international students, or postgraduate study? AGCAS holds a Directory of Experts: a register of AGCAS members who volunteer, as opportunities and requests arise, to speak confidently on behalf of the organisation to the press, researchers and other interested parties.

    AGCAS at Westminster: Influencing the future of HE careers

    Sue Spence, Careers Adviser at the University of Huddersfield and AGCAS Director of Professional Development, discusses AGCAS's increasingly important role in lobbying on behalf of the HE careers sector. Sue reports from three recent meetings at Westminster, where AGCAS was invited to take part in policy-forming consultations and Sue was able to represent the views of AGCAS members at a national level and contribute to the many debates surrounding the future of careers work in the UK.
