Career Development Theories Workshop (2 days), Warwick

    This two-day course is compulsory for registrants studying the Career Development Theories module of the joint AGCAS and The University of Warwick MA, PG Diploma, PG Certificate in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education (CEIGHE) or related PG Award. It is only available to current AGCAS and Warwick students enrolled on these programmes.

    The course is designed and delivered by the course team at Warwick. It features overall course welcome, induction and the use of video case studies to bring theories to life. There is time for individual questions and comments. It is also an opportunity to meet with fellow students from a range of backgrounds.

    The workshop aims to help participants enhance their practice using career development theories. We focus on a range of classic and contemporary perspectives and their relevance to our work.

    You must register on the Career Development Theories module with Warwick at least one month before the workshop runs to ensure you are familiar with the introductory online course materials and have completed the pre-course work.

    If you are an enrolled AGCAS and Warwick student, and you would like to attend, please complete online module registration with Warwick using your online Course Handbook.

    If you are not enrolled as an AGCAS and Warwick student and you are interested in finding out more about the MA, PG Diploma in CEIGHE or related PG Award, please visit our website. Please note that it can take at least two months to process applications.

    Lunch and refreshments will be provided over the two days. There is no overnight accommodation provided on this course. If you would like to arrange accommodation at Warwick, please contact Warwick Conferencing (tel: 02476 221111). Further information about this and other accommodation options will be provided in your module enrolment letter from Warwick.
