Research Workshop, (2 days), Warwick
Fri 07 Jul
Sat 08 Jul
The course is designed and delivered by the course team at Warwick. It is designed for participants of all backgrounds, including those who have no or little experience of research. It is also useful for those seeking a refresher or with experience of research in different context.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to;
undertake a literature review and frame research questions
develop a research strategy and data collection methods
discuss ethics and values in relation to research in our field
design a structure for writing-up
explore avenues for potential publication
There is time built in for individual questions and comments. It is also an opportunity to meet with fellow students from a range of backgrounds.
Don't just take our word for it, here are some comments from previous participants...
"sharing information with others it also helped to make my ideas clearer"
"useful networking. Interesting to hear why others had chosen to do their projects"
