Developing a Global Career, Huddersfield

Universities are facing increasingly high expectations from students and employers to equip students with the skills and attributes to succeed in a global economy. This AGCAS NE Regional Training day aims to raise awareness on what this means for careers and employability professionals and will include the opportunity to hear from external speakers who have developed their own global careers. We will also discuss job search strategy, consider how to develop and utilise global networks and consider how you can use your own institutional networks to provide opportunities for students.
We intend to have some delivery in a workshop style (information/advice coupled with discussion) from our Careers Adviser (International) and Internships Coordinator with the support of International Office staff. We are also aiming to have speakers with an international background, including students/graduates who are developing global careers and experiences and employers/professionals who will outline why a global mind-set is important for their graduate recruitment.

Please note that this event is primarily for AGCAS members in the North East training region. As the event is run regionally by AGCAS members, the AGCAS office will NOT be involved in bookings.
