Employability and Enterprise in the Curriculum, Newcastle upon Tyne

  1. Wed 14 Jun

If you have responsibility for developing, designing or contributing to modules that focus on Employability and Enterprise, this AGCAS NE Regional Training workshop aims to help you consider the challenges you may face, how to overcome them and learn from others already delivering established/new modules.  We will encourage participants to share their knowledge, experience and challenges alongside our own, before providing space to work on identified problems/opportunities.  To do this, we will use activities that we engage students with to help develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills to enable you to take something productive away from the day.

    This interactive workshop aims to:

    - Inform and discuss how Newcastle University Careers Service has embedded Employability and Enterprise into our curriculum so far; considering relevance and growth challenges.

    - Provide participants with space to consider their institution's current approach to Employability and Enterprise.

    - Give experience in using learning tools Newcastle University Careers Service find to be effective for both staff and students whilst addressing the issue of embedding E&E.

Members of the Curriculum Team and colleagues from across the Careers Service will deliver the workshop which will involve some use of presenter-led information, short film/infographics, but mainly group activities and discussion.

Complete the booking form below and send to: Gayle Leach
