Social media event, Edinburgh

    This one-day AGCAS Scotland regional training event aims to both broaden your knowledge of social media and increase your confidence about using it.

    The day starts with Marielle Kelly, Careers Consultant from Trinity College Dublin, speaking about managing your online presence, identifying and communicating your brand, and using social media to research career options, vacancies and companies. 

    After lunch, Rob Marrs, Head of Education at The Law Society of Scotland, will be discussing the laws around social media and you can best support your students to keep them on the right track.

    And finally, Euan McNair, Talent Acquisition Manager at Standard Life, will be looking at the changing landscape of recruitment.

    Who is this for?

    Please note that this event is for AGCAS members in Scotland and aimed primarily at career advisers and anyone in the Career Service who works with social media.

    To book a place please complete a Regional Course Booking Form below and send to Carol Andrews. Please also contact Carol with any queries via email or phone on 0141 848 3026.

    As the event is run regionally by AGCAS members, the AGCAS office will NOT be involved in bookings. However, if you wish to use AGCAS training vouchers in payment then please contact the Learning Team to check voucher status.
