Information Strategy, Warwick

   This course is now full.

   This one-day course is intended for all information specialists who wish to introduce or improve their information strategy. It is one of two new one-day courses, which run as a part of the Postgraduate Diploma/MA in CEIGHE under the AGCAS/The University of Warwick Career Information module.

   By the end of this course you will:
   
   • Understand the important role that information provision plays within any service
   • Understand the importance of an information strategy for your service
   • Understand the difference between strategy and operational plans
   • Compare and contrast existing services' information strategies
   • Understand how the context within which each service works may influence and affect their
      information strategy
   • Begin to create your service's strategy or build and improve upon your current information
      strategy
   • Derive an action plan to get your service to buy into and cooperate with your strategy
   • Derive an action plan to keep your strategy regularly updated and relevant
   • Build a network of strategy oriented peers

   The course price includes all tuition, meals and refreshments.

   NB: If you intend to do this course as part of the CEIGHE qualification with The University of Warwick, you need to register for the module with the university. Once AGCAS has offered you a place on the course, you will need to complete The University of Warwick Module Registration Form (available below) and return it as soon as possible, certainly before the course, runs, to the university (address on form).
