Destinations of disabled graduates revealed in new report

The AGCAS Disability Task Group has produced the latest edition of What Happens Next? A Report on the First Destinations of 2013 Disabled Graduates. This annual report compares the employment outcomes of disabled and non-disabled university leavers six months after graduation and draws upon the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey.




Southampton wins AGCAS Award for Partnership with Professional Services 2016

The winner of the 2016 AGCAS Award for Partnership with Professional Services, sponsored by Unitemps, is the University of Southampton. The Careers and Employability Service demonstrated collegiality in its partnership with Enabling Services in the launch of a programme to support the successful transition of disabled students into employment.

Working in partnership: enabling social mobility in higher education

Universities UK has produced the final report of the Social Mobility Advisory Group, which was set up with the aim of identifying practical ways to address inequality in higher education. It has highlighted the need for a rigorous evidence-based approach to social mobility, the importance of evaluation to inform and shape future work and that sustained change can only be achieved through collaboration and partnership between universities, schools, colleges and employers.
